Situé au 163 Parkdale, à Ottawa, cet immeuble est constitué d’une tour résidentielle de 31 étages et d’un bâtiment commercial au rez-de-chaussée. BPDL a été impliquée dans la préfabrication des panneaux architecturaux de la base de l’immeuble, dont le fini-brique horizontal et vertical se marie parfaitement avec les auvents en revêtement métallique.

Dans ce projet, des matrices de coffrage (formliners) ont été utilisées pour l’obtention d’un fini-brique. Ce procédé de moulage utilise une membrane élastomère pour reproduire l’aspect de la brique.

Located at 163 Parkdale, Ottawa, this building consists of a 31-storey residential tower and a ground-floor commercial building. BPDL was involved in the prefabrication of the architectural panels at the base of the building, whose horizontal and vertical brick finish blends perfectly with the metal-clad canopies.

In this project, formliners were used to produce a brick finish. This molding process uses an elastomeric membrane to reproduce the look of brick.
